Carol Riggan opened the first Boxcar Treasures location in December of 2016. After, almost 5 years and lots of growth,we moved our Washington location to a new home on the east side of the historic downtown Washington square. Check it out @ 110 S. Iowa Ave. Suite B. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on August 1st!
Our 2nd location was opened in July of 2017. After 5 years at that location, we had the opportunity to get a larger space with more visabilty. With lots of parking, just off 218, it is the perfect place to hold big events. Stay tuned to BCT for updates on events!
With a total of over 600 vendors & consingors between 2 stores, we have something for everyone! Stop in for a blast from the past, relieve membories of days gone by with of items from yesteryear. We offer many styles of glassware & pottery, including Depression, Roseville, Fenton, Frankcoma. Collectibles from records, ball cards & advertsing to Precious Moments, Nascar, Tonka, Buddy L and more. Local crafts include recycled, reused, re-purposed items.
