Nestled in the heart of Cherokee, Iowa, Lazy Cat Antiques is a hidden gem housed in a beautifully restored historic creamery building, where the echoes of bygone dairy days blend seamlessly with timeless treasures. Specializing in lovingly refurbished furniture, our store transforms forgotten pieces into stunning, one-of-a-kind heirlooms—each item meticulously sanded, stained, and revived to honor its original craftsmanship while adding a fresh, modern twist.

We invite you to join the adventure! Browse our ever-changing collection, chat with our experts about custom refurbishing projects, or simply soak in the joy of discovery. At Lazy Cat Antiques, we’re not just selling furniture—we’re sharing the excitement of turning “junk” into joy, one piece at a time. This is the most gorgeous piece of furniture I have ever seen laid my eyes on. This chest of drawers has got to be over 70 years old and it does not have a scratch on it. One of the 5 drawers is cedar lined. The chest measures 51 inches tall, 36 1/2 inches wide and 20 inches deep. It has a matching nightstand in the same condition. The nightstand measures 23 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 14 inches deep. $75 for the nightstand. There is also a full size bed frame with this set just as beautiful as the other pieces.
